Busy Busy

Haha.. Last week I was busy like hell, therefore no time for blogging. Since I just finish bath and have nothing to do, so I better write something in my blog or it will die.

Talking about last week, what I have been doing in office was trying to enroll my subjects that I am going to take in Unsw website. There have been some errors and I had to call Unsw Civil engineering office to take care of. In the websites, they stated that I does not have the prerequisite to take those subjects. I was stress out at first, but after knowing that my friends last time also encounter the same error I decided to give Unsw office a call. The first time I called them, one subject was successfully enrolled but the other one was full, so I had to call them again tomorrow. This whole enroll process take me 3 working days.

After that I was thinking of blogging but the internet connection at my house was down. I cannot write blog at night. zzzz.... while in the office in the morning, sometimes I was busy and those times that I am free, internet connection seem to be connecting very slow. When my house internet was fixed, I was busy 'Yam Cha' with my kb friends because most of them are back for holiday.

Oh ya, my laptop last time dunno why get attacked by Virus. zzzz.... I reformatted my laptop and guess what? The webcam still not working fine, I guess I will go to KL to have it fix before going to oversea or else how I going to webcam in MSN? Why I need to take to KL? Cause stupid Kb dun have Dell dealer. This really caused me a lot of troubles. Anyway, now it is time for me to go watch Astro again, this week on discovery is Shark week!!Woot..

Cousin Wedding

12/12/2008 is the day my cousin (表哥) wedding :)

In the morning, We go to the bride house with 8 cars. They said that all things done on that day must be in double. We depart around 10 a.m. and drive around 30 minutes to the bride house. Before entering the house, we are stop by the bride family member and needed to complete some task. 1st task was easy, just 10 10 sen coins. Then the coins are thrown into the icy cold bucket of water and use hands to take out the coins. After that another obstacle, a piece of paper fill with lipstick kissed are taken out and the bridegroom are wanted to guess which 1 is the bride lipstick kiss mark. Before the games are finish played, the human wall that bride family put up has been push break :) Aiyo, I wanted to see all the games, but they say that the "lucky time" is reaching soon. So the sacred ceremony begins, I span a lot of photo but I not really sure what I was doing :) Scare to explain wrong, therefore I leave it blank about the ceremony.

After that we go to the basket ball court and have lunch there cause the bride family have a buffet there. Finally we go back the bridegroom house at 1p.m. then continue with another part of the sacred ceremony. Something about giving tea to their mother and elder family or relatives. Then the part I remember most is the Ang Pao, the married couple gives out Ang Pao to those relative that haven't married. After that another buffet outside, Nasi Dagang (Purple Rice) :)

Around 3p.m, I reach my home and take a nap until 6p.m. The wedding dinner start at 7.30p.m, and we held a small scale wedding party about 21 tables. The food are not bad and whole times got singing event, the bride side family go up onces to sing, and bridegroom side go up sang about 3 times :) Some guest are happy and drank a lot then gotten drunk early and go up sing then some of them dancing on the dance floor :) When the last dish of dessert are served, the dance floor filled with aunties and uncle dancing because it is Disco time!!! I also feel very happy and dance with aunties them :) Hiak hiak....

"Yammmmm~ Seng!"

Loo Family Singing

Disco Time

On that day, I realise that time pass very fast. Last time when I was small we all used to play together, and now my cousin is getting married. I am very happy for him :) Some day it will be my turn, hopefully. Haha for now Ethan make sure that He must study hard~

Life without Internet?

Hello guys. Last few days was a Bump! My Stremyx Tm-Net Blue Color Modem gone K.O. Haiz, it all started when my house experiences a temporary black out. By temporary black out, I meant like 0.5 sec electricity jump. This incident happen once for 2 days continuously. First time I didn't notice that because I was working, my little brother told me when I get home. Luckily nothing was broken or harmed during the 1st electric current jump. Well who care as long as nothing was damage right? On the next day around 5p.m, when I was running on the track mill machine when suddenly another tempo black out, I was shocked because the machine stop by itself =.= Then my little brother came running down telling me that Internet can't seem to be assessable. Things started like this:

Day 1:
At first I didn't really care much because I just use the Internet to check mail and surf web unlike my little brother mapling whole day. Not bad what, I get more free time to watch Astro and hang around with families.

Day 2:
Public holiday, Woot~! And public holiday means no work, Woot~! And no work means no Internet asses, Woot~! So I stayed home, woke up late and watched more Astro. Things are looking a bit boring but what the heck, I still can accept life without Internet. But on the other hand, my little brother was like "Boring until Hell" already. Later on that day, my family went to  mall and I tagged along.

Day 3:
The Boredness is coming to get me already. No mail and no facebook for the third day, things are looking kinda choked up like my unshaven face. I need Internet to make things move again! After a few minutes of running around, I discovered that my cousin Internet connection was normal, stable and running. After telling my little brother about that, we came up with 1 synopsis that not the whole neighbourhood Internet connection down, is the stupid Stremyx Tm-Net Modem spoilt. After We changed the Tm-net Modem with our previous Aztech (Modem+Router), guess what? Internet was assessable! Hurray.

Conclusion:
-Life without Internet Sucks.
-You cannot check e-mail, no e-mail assess means cannot print out the air ticket comfirmation from e-mail.
-You cannot surf facebook, no facebook surfing means no leaving stupid comment on friends photo.
-Temporary black out or Electric Current jumped can be dangerous when you are running on track mill.
-Astro can be dangerous if overdose.

Foodgelicious IV

Hello guys.

Welcome again to another episode of "Foodgelicious".

On today chapter of Foodgelicious, I will be taking you guys to City of History and City of the South to have a closer look on their delicious foods. Let have a look on the menu below:

1. Satay Celup a.k.a Satay Sauce Steamboat
This is the famous Satay Celup from Malacca. You can choose from a variety of "Satay" and dip inside the Satay Sauce. This is much the same as "Lok Lok" except the sauce is Satay Sauce and taste much more Juicy with the nuts inside the sauce. But the wonderful thing about this Satay Celup is you can take as much as you want while eating a part of that without dirty the others, the price is just counted by the stick you ate. Wonderful e? See the picture above, we 4 people above also cannot finish it all.

Foodgelicious Meter: 7/10
Try it, they won't bite.

P/s: Dun throw "Si ham" inside unless all of your friends like it :)

2. Chicken Rice Balls a.k.a Fish Ball?
Another Malacca delicacy, the famous Chicken Rice Balls. As a Malaysian I sure that you all must have heard of this Chicken Rice Balls. What make it so special then? I have taste it and felt quite the same with other chicken rice I usually had, but the special part is the Chicken Rice Balls really looks like Fish balls as you can see in the picture above. Oh ya, their black soup are also famous for their weird color. But sadly I didn't get a chance to taste it because we got there late for some reasons.

Foodgelicious Meter: 7.5/10
Better try it, or you will miss out the weirdness of this delicacy.

P/s: Chicken Rice balls REALLY looks like Fish balls la. Argh, no one believe me.

3. Cendol a.k.a Malacca Baba-Nyonya Cendol
Malacca Cendol? This not just any Cendol, It is the famous Malacca Baba-Nyonya Cendol! For me, this just plain cendol because I'm not really a Cendol fella. The special about this Cendol is that they use Gula Melaka (Malacca's Sugar) to make that Cendol and they are Baba-Nyonya. According to my friends at Malacca, Baba-Nyonya is last time before our Country even "Merdeka" yet, Malay and Chinese get married and have their children and they are called Baba-Nyonya. Oh, dun ask me about their religious cause I dun have a slightest idea.

Foodgelicious Meter: 6/10
If the weather is hot, try it and it will taste more than 6. If rainy day, better go have a cup of hot "Ipoh Kopi".

P/s: Every one likes Cendol? Haiz I prefer Ais Batu Kacang "Kosong". Jom K.B friends let go Nasi Kukus and ABC when the weather is much more normal ok?

4. Mee Hoon Kueh a.k.a Hand-made Mee Hoon and a bunch of leaves.
There you have it, Johor Bahru famous Mee Hoon Kueh. I hardly believe it located just outside my friends house :) As they say looks can be deceiving, this plain Mee Hoon Kueh taste just awesome. The best part is the meat balls, we even call 1 more bowl of meat balls. Unlike the meat balls I usually ate, this meat balls inside are well cook and taste wonderful for every bite.

Foodgelicious Meter: 8/10
Drewz:"Guys, lets call another bowl of meat balls ok?"

P/s: Sadly that shop not air-condition, most of my friends dun dare to touch the chili padi cause scare of sweating, except me. :)

5. Kueh Tiao Kia a.k.a Small Size Bowl of Kueh Tiao
The reason it called Kueh Tiao Kia is obvisiously the size of the bowl. Originally I wanted to share with my friends but they all said it is so damn little only. Other than the wonderful taste it offer by itself, there are a lot of side dish that can be ordered. There are "Pipe" (Pig intestine), Taufu, Pig Stomach, and much more Pig parts. This make this delicacy Very non-halal, sorry for some people that cannot taste it.

Foodgelicious Meter: 8.5/10
Taste marvelous, try it!!

P/s: J.B rocks because midnight they have supper can choose from a veriaty of food.

I'm Back

Hello Guys, I'm back! Last few days was simply marvelous. I was in Malacca, Johor Bahru, and also Kuala Lumpur. I going down by plane (FireFly) as usual to Kuala Lumpur and travel to Malacca by bus (K.K.K.L).

Malacca, The Historical State.
After a nice nap in bus, my friend Andrew came to fetch me at the bus stop. The days in Malacca was like eating and play PS3 only. Me, Andrew and Tristan 3 people completed playing "Resistant" on PS3.
Oh ya, foods at Malacca are just wonderful; Chicken Rice Ball that are round and look like fish ball thingy; Satay Celup that is buffet style steamboat using Satay Sauce; and more.
However, Clubbing in Pure Bar was Unsuccess due to the heavy down pour. What a let down :-( Sad Face.
I also been to Pahlawan to shopping and movie one set. Me and friends watched "Quarantine". Nice movie and not as dizzy as CloverField.
After 3 days in Malacca it is time for Ethan to go to Johor Bahru. Me, Andrew and Tristan travel by bus to J.B.

Johor Bahru, the South State.
Tristan and Andrew played Burnout on Bus, while Ethan sleep like pig :)
Dexin and David came to pick us up to Dexin house. We meet up with Leiyong and Wayne afterword.
I did some shopping and had some of the popular foods in J.B.; Paper Warp Chicken is Chinese Herbal Chicken steam warp in Paper. (P.s: Thanks to Wayne & Leiyong for that meal.); Mee Hoon Kueh that have the best Meat balls I ever had. (P.s: Thanks to Dexin for that meal.); Kueh Teow Kia & it's Side dish are Appetising (P.s: Thanks to Dexin for that meal.); and much more.
We also gone to Sing K from  2.30p.m until 9p.m. (Rm9 per person) but unfortunately we are hungry before 9p.m and left earlier.
Oh ya, We also watching "Love Letter" with Dexin laptop at night. The show was funny and have some of the best dance move ever.
After 3 days at Malacca, We (Ethan, David, Andrew, & Tristan) sit K.K.K.L bus back to Malacca and afterword Andrew fetch me and David to Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur, The BIG State.
After arriving at JoN place and dinner together with his parents, we played Ps3 for a while and Dokapon on Ps2.
We went to Summit & 1 Utama for shopping and JoN did the best thing in that month! He bought a Pc game "Left 4 Dead" and the game simply Rock! 1st person shooting game that can Co-op shoot freaking zombie.
That night we was like Dokapon and see Andrew played "Left 4 Dead" online via Garena. It was funny because Andrew keep say to teammate: "lollollollollol" and do stupid stun that nearly killed himself like walk to a clift =.=
After 2 days in Kuala Lumpur, I finally back to Kota Bharu by Firefly. Lucky me the Air Stewardess was quite attractive :) Smiley Face.

Ok, thats wrap up quite everything of this holiday trip.

Apply Visa? Troublesome -.-

As usual before you go to other country you need to apply Visa. For me, I applying Visa to Australia to further my studies as an civil engineer :)

Applying Visa for higher education involve many stages, 1st you must get the Offer letter from the University you applied, easy step right? Noooo!!! You need to wait like freaking long to get, I wait like freaking 4 months wei!! Haiz during the time that you are waiting for your Offer letter you will feel like Hell, the reason? You dunno yourself get accept by the University or not and when your friends ask you where you going to futher you studies. We sure said the University that we are applying but if the University turn out not accepting you, I guess you also know the feeling yourself :) Still got a lot of things to think about during this period like Fees, Accomodation, whether you can adept to living there and much more.

After getting Offer letter you need to mail the correct amount of deposit and insurances to the University that accepted you. When they receive that payment they you mail you a Letter of Comfirmation. Letter of Comfirmation if a letter that comfirm you are coming to Australia to study and you can now apply a student (temporary) Visa :)

After filling in some blanks, you are charge for the Visa about AUD$450. Expensive right? After that you need to print out 2 medical form and go to the nearest panel doctor to comfirm you dun have are deathly virus or disease. Panel Doctor is doctor that comfirm by Australia Imigration Office that will not write fake report like you have 3 hands or whatever.

Ok then I bring my Medical report to a panel doctor. After waiting for like 15 minutes and done some stupid test like: "Read out this number." (The number test is to test whether you are color blind or are you a total retard.). By today I just know I am just 172cm =.= So so short. Haiz even my little brother is much bigger than me already :-( Back to main topic, So the doctor even ask me to take a Urine test, the purpose I am not sure. Finally the doctor test my eye sight, and she have a shock after knowing that my left eye is Lazy Eye that can hardly see the 1st lane of alphabet, doc told me go get a letter of Eye Specialist and X-ray from a Radiologist. Haiz troublesome!!!!

Early in the morning, I go to see the Radiologist and take X-ray of my chest see got any broken bone or any worm inside :) After I registered and wait for like 1 hour while watching movie : "Number 23" that staring Jim Carrey. Oh, I forget the meantion that the hospital is very very Cold plus outside also raining. When I entered the X-ray room, I was ask to take off my cloth and OMG that was cold like hell. After positioning me infront of the X-ray machine, a flash was seen and that was it :) Billion and Trillion of cells dead. After I wear my cloth and walk outside of the room, the nurse suddenly come running to me and ask me to take another picture of my chest. I was shock and ask her why? Izzit I got 30 ribs or 3 hearts or whatever, she answer me that the picture taken was not PREETY and need to take another 1. Guess what? I took a total of 3 X-ray to my chest today and I feel sorry for my body cells. Oh ya, I still need to wait for the doctor to write my report and pay for the bills and this whole process take around 2 and a half hours.

X-Ray Machine

Then off I go to find the Eye Specialist. Took around 30 minutes to find the stupid eye clinic. When I enter I saw like 15 Malays inside :( this could take forever and the worker there ask me to go back. "Har? Go Back?" I told them I just need a regular checkup and after 10 minutes of discussing the problem the eye specialist agreed to check on me but after all the surgery is done. Another 1 hours of waiting and guess what? All the Malays are gone :) This is because just a total of 3 surgery is going to be perform today and the clinic plans to close early. Just my luck maybe, when I saw the eye specialist, he quickly notice that my left eye is useless and told me this problem is not fix-able and I was ask to check whether my eye got "Holes" inside that may cause blindness. So he use some yellow liquid and put inside my eye. During that 30 minutes of waiting the medicine to take effect, my eye vision is blurly and I cannot even read the words in near distance. The worse part is yet to come. I was thinking that maybe he use some thingy and poke into my eye to check whether got "Holes" or not, but I come to a relieve because the whole process just involve a helmet and a magnify glass. I was wrong, this process really Sucks, the eye specialist use the magnify glass to aim at my eye balls and use a steam of light to check wheter inside got "Holes" or not. And if I am not mistaken I say out "Oh my God" about 3 times, because the light shoot inside eye balls is not a nice feeling. The whole process take just 2 minutes but the effect of the medicine take around 4 hours and even until now already 8 hours I still hurts a bit when I see direct light :(

After that I need to bring the report from Eye Specialist and X-ray from Radiologist back to the Panel Doctor that will help me mail to Australia :)

Conclusion: TROUBLESOME.

Nice Song? :)

Basshunter : Now You're Gone

David Guetta - Love Is Gone

Crazy - Sam

My Camera o.0

Previously I used this handphone to take all my picture :)

But now:

Yup another Sony Brand for Ethan :) I like Sony product. Hiak hiak, not like my sister that buy Samsung every time =.=

This is Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77. Cool right? T77. The things about this camera that drive me crazy is the touch screen. Woot hopefully the screen wont spoilt so fast.

This camera also small in size :) 95 x 59 x 16 mm. Ultra Compact yeah baby, but despite the small size, it capable to capture picture with 10.1 Mega Pixel. Now I am able to take more clearer picture already :) Hooray

Foodgelicious - III

Yet again another version of Foodgelicious. Topic today is the food that I had in K.L. Let look on today's menu. Oxtail soup, Escargot, Steak, Ice cream and Meat Balls. Yummy, Let have a look shall we?

1. Oxtail Soup a.k.a appetizer soup.
Oxtail soup? What the hell is that?
The thingy on my spoon is the tail of Ox that have been cooked :)
Despite the weird origin of the soup (from a tail of an Ox), the soup taste good and served as a good appetizer just what you need before dig in the main dish.
Taste are more heavy than normal Cow/Beef Soup but the meat on the tail part are just perfect :)
Dun worry about they cutting of Ox just because of the tail.

Foodgelicious meter show a rating of 7/10
***Note: Not for all culture!!***

2. Escargot a.k.a little snail served with a tons of garlic.
Oh My GoD, Another weird dish!! Snail!!! freaking Snail???
Yeah. Snail on a plate :) actually they are not called snail, Escargot is their NAME.
I love this dish a lot because of the bizare taste and maybe cause it is snail?
You can find this type of dish at those western restaurant.
How do you eat it? You can eat it by simply bite and chew the whole thing including the shell plate and spoon or by using a holding thingy that holds those escargot in place and you use a fork to poke or pull out the escargot meat inside their shell.
1 more thing: "It does not taste like chicken."

Foodgelicious Meter: 7.5/10
Makes you want for more but you will know when to stop because it is freaking expensive :)

3. Chilled Spare-Rib a.k.a Bloody Steak.

You see this piece of meat red red like this is NOT blood pouring out because it is too raw.
This piece of meat is cut from cow ribs, and served with 50% cooked and chili sauce on top of the steak.
How to know it is 50% cooked? The meat is soft when you cut them and you will saw 2 type of color inside the meat, brown surrounding red color.
On the top corner we have Corn, Potato, Beans, and some Broccoli. I ate everything except the Potato, because I just dun like it.

Foodgelicious Meter: 7/10
***Note: Please dun eat the whole rib under the piece of steak, IT IS NOT EATABLE (unless you are a dog)***

4. Haagen-Dazs Ice cream a.k.a 3 little balls of ice cream on a waffer.
Ice cream? What a big deal about ice cream and some honey and a piece of waffer?
Hoho my friends this just not everyday ice cream but Haagen Dazs Ice cream.
You can choose from a variety of flavors and topping and sidedish like waffer or brownie.
Oh ya forget to meantion, it is freaking F*cking Expensive!!!!!!!!! Rm13 over for a single scoop.
Argh...
For me I think that Ice cream from a Company Called McDonald also tasted better than this and more worth it >:D

Foodgelicious Meter: 4.5/10
Not as good as they said it.

5. Ikea meatballs a.k.a "HEALTHY" meal?
Oh yeshh~ From the looks of this picture we can see meatballs, fries, and also some strawberry jam.
Those be fooled by the appearance of this dish, it tasted heavenly if you are a beef lover.
Fries taste so so only.
To maximise the flavor, ones must dip the meatballs into the strawberry jam before chew them down. Until now I also cannot explain why they think of these meatballs match perfectly with strawberry jam. If you know please share with me your thought :)

Foodgelicious Meter: 8.5/10
***Beef Beef as in COW meat, so some of you might be sad now because you guys are missing out all the nice food!!!Just kidding, culture faith more important***

KL trip

Hoho~ Hello everyone...I'm back from KL. Some of you may even wonder that when I went to KL, got some of my stupid friends even call me to go to snooker when I was busy shopping. Anyway this KL trip is all about FOOD and SHOPPinG. Haha... Only my Mother, Brother, Cousin 4 person go to KL, others didn't follow cause Exam and stuffs.

I Sit AirAsia to KL, and return to KB with FireFly. Two not same type of plane and company, but they both have 1 common ADVANTAGE: Delay. Oh yeah, AirAsia delayed for 45 minutes and I already upset about that but never mind because can sit at KFC in the terminal. But for Firefly I suffer a delay of nearly 2 hours, and the best thing is the terminal is still under renovation and have nothing to drink or eat, just sit there let mosquito suck on you.

Food:
Yeah, some of the most awesome food can be found in KL. I had my dinner/lunch/tea-time at Victoria Station, Nando's, Kim Gary, 任吃 (yam sek), Haägen-Dazs, Ikea food court.
任吃 (yam sek) is a seafood-steamboat-buffet-3 stories-aircon-restaurant. The honey roasted chicken wing from 任吃 (yam sek) tasted marvelous :) and you need to fight for it because they are limited and served every 15 minutes.
Beside 任吃 (yam sek), Victoria Station steak are just the correct flavor i need after 3/4 months staying in my hometown.
Haägen-Dazs ice cream does not taste as good as I imagine, but the price are expensive like hell. 1 scoop of ice cream cost around RM13. Althought 1 little scoop cost so much, still a lot of customers buy Haägen-Dazs ice cream. Why? "This question I also cannot answer you my friend, you must seak the answer deep within yourself".
Kim Gary's Mee maggi are quite Ok but when you know that you can buy those instant noodle at the nearest supermarket at a low low low price, you will order cheese baked rice instead of instant noodle :)
Ikea is a shopping complex that everyone knows, the food court are always crowded and the Swedish meat balls there taste F*cKinG Nice.
Finally, Nando's? 1 thing is sure for my own opinion, Nando's beats Kenny Roger like A LOT, because of the multi flavor choice that suit all type of customers.

Shopping:
I went to 1Utama, Midvalley, & The Curve. "I came, I saw, I BUY" = I go to shopping complex and saw discounted shirt and I buy them >:D .
Midvalley having CK (Calvin Klein) warehouse sales, around 70% discount!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are like leopard acting fast and park like a tank on a steady place saying "This is my territory until I get my size" and didn't even move when you push them, LOL 70% discount in CK means like those shirt didn't cost a penny because I saw a lot of people buy Damn a lot of shirts and I mean A LOT!!
The Curve also didn't lose to Midvalley cause there also have PADINI warehouse sales. But sadly I didn't get a chance to participate in both shopping frenzy because my mom dun like crowded area.

Food + Shopping:
Eat eat eat and Shop shop shop eventually there is also Diet diet save save. Haiz, now I need to keep fit and save money for 1 more up coming trip at 24 Nov. I am going down to Melaka and JB to find my college friends and I believe this will eventually leads to Eat eat eat and Shop shop shop again. Lets hope that I manage to control myself before going to Australia or else no people accompany me there already :)

Foodgelicious (Part 2)

Yes, once again another topic of Foodgelicious!! Once again lets invite our judges. Let hear a clap for Mr. Ethan. He will be typing out Foodgelicious score on the Foodgelicious Meter.
***Disclamir: All this crap about Foodgelicious meter is all made-up for fun :)***

1. Chang Mai Restaurant Food a.k.a OMG so FAST??
Oh yeah. A Thai restaurant that located not so far from my house (around 15 minutes driving) that cook out a lot of delicious food. Lets see what we have on the table. There you have "Squid steam with lime", "Coconut Milk Prawn", "Keng Som Fish", "Mix vegetables", "Pork Leg" & "Kam Heong Lala". The best part is that all these food are served after 10 minutes we ordered. At peak period (Thursday/Friday night) this restaurant will be fulled with customer and believe me when I said the food is served Fucking Fast. So if you have a hungry stomach that can withstand Spicy Thai Food, can come to "Chang Mai Restaurant" and try it out yourself. By the way, you can also enjoy weird food like "Volcano Chicken", "Fried BEE", "Pak Prik Eals", "Fried worm thingy", and lots more.

Foodgelicious Meter: 9/10
Good Side: Nice food. Fast services. Lots more.
Down Side: For visiter to travel themself into this area is hard cause the road was kinda scary like you might not believe there is restaurants inside. (around 3 thai restaurant in that area)

2. Kao Jam a.k.a Green Rice
Also a type of Thai Food, sorry about the mistake on earlier post said that this is originated by Malays. (Thanks to Qian on pointing me out). This type of food is easily made by mixing Fish bits, Veges, Onion, Chili, Budu, and also some fried coconut's powder into your green rice. And there you will have it "Kao Jam". Oh to make the green rice, we usually add in green juices (that comes in bottle that are juices pressed from some leaves that I dun have any idea what it called) instead of plain water in the cooking rice process. To enhanced the taste of this dish, you can eat with fried fish crackers.

Foodgelicious Meter: 9/10
Nothing much to add on caused I already write a whole post about this Kao Jam sometime in October.

3. Indian Rice a.k.a Meena Curry
Yeah, Indian rice. This whole set of indian rice taste nice :) I just ate it yesterday night with my friends. Simple right? Rice + curry and some bean sprouts (taugeh) and some chicken. But now the economy is bad and this simple indian curry rice are expensive :(

Foodgelicious Meter: 5.5/10
It in the okok zone. But I wonder will I ever have a Freaking Delicious Indian Rice? Cause I look spicy food and this type of food just suit me well.

4. Budu a.k.a Rotten Fish Juices
Every one at Kelantan also know what is "Budu". Mostly likes it, but some dislikes them for their dirty apearances. This is because Budu are made by ferment fish and salt. For more information about this wonderful juices, you can refer to Wikipedia. Just type in "Budu" and there you have it, a well explain definition of this juices. Back to main point, Budu can be enjoyed in various ways like the picture on top, or you can take Durian and eat it with rice plus budu. The taste is unexplainable, you should try it out yourself or you come my hometown I treat you this tasty dish.

Foodgelicious Meter: 8.5/10
Should try it! Dun be afraid of the rotten fish smell (nah dun have any smell) but you better dun watch the process making this juices or I scare you won't have the guts to try it anymore :)

Foodgelicious

In today's topic: "Foodgelicious", I gonna introduce about some food that taste good or bad. In Ethanpedia, Foodgelicious means: "Food that are 2F :"Freaking Fu*king" delicious that are eatable and seldom see at your every day life". Lets have a look at some picture below and try to decide whether it is Foodgelicious or not.

1. Sweet Sour Crab a.k.a Icky Yucky Disgusting Pukey Crab Dish

As you can see this Brown Icky Yucky Disgusting Pukey dish is definitely not categorize in Food Paradise. Actually this dish taste quite nice :) Last few night, my family bring me to this old thai style restaurant and called this so called "Sweet Sour Crab". The Pukey substants is a result of Egg + Tomato. My family member all loved this food except me. Maybe is because of the pukey look, I didn't complain much and take a picture of this Wonderful Dish.

Ethan give this dish a score of 2/10 in Foodgelicious meter due to NICE appearances, small size crab and also blue color plate. (The blue color plus this brown color is sure awful)

2. Korean style steamboat a.k.a Free of Pork steamboat

This dish origin from Korea. It just a pot of plain water that you throw in everything to create this "One Pot of Wonder". Yes, a plain water steamboat. First you just need a pot that is not dirty and then you pour drinkable water into it and watch it boil. When the water is boil, use your finger to test whether it is at near 100 Celsius and after 1 minutes and your finger have no more feeling means the water is boil :) Then just throw in everything that you like to eat inside the Hot Pot. Er, if I am not mistaken we put in the red thingy that said to be good for eye sight (I dun have any idea what it called), Korean sea weed thingy, squid, all type of mushroom, pieces of evenly cut fish meat, Clam, Oyster and Veges. At first the soup taste like plain water, but at the second round, the soup taste very sweat, I think is because the juices/taste of the fish, clam, veges all mix inside the soup. Most important is this steamboat is non-oily, so it is good for those student that studies oversea and lazy to cook, now you got a new dish. Just throw everything inside a pot of plain water and there you have it, dinner for 5 days :)
Ethan give this dish a score of 8.5/10 in Foodgelicious meter because the first round just plain sucks, but it is easy to make and economical :)

3. Sushi a.k.a Homemade whatever you likey Sushi Roll
Hunger for Japanese Food? Why not try Ethan's Homemade Sushi Roll. It include everything you dream of having except abalone and sharkfin. Oh yeah, ever dream of you can wrap anything sushi roll? Believe me when I said you can wrap anything cause the wrapping is so big. My family used a piece of "Zi Cai" (dried seaweed) size 8" x 8" (eight times eight inches in size) to wrap up the stuffing. On the table, we have fried prawn (Tempura), fried squid ring, fried fish that already been slices into even pieces, veges, japanese rice that already plus some seasoning, tuna, raw salmon fish, little red egg, crab stick, cucumber, baby corn(small un-matured corn), small little octopus, and last but not least Wasabi. Ethan just like to put everything inside plus a tons of wasabi for the great feeling of sushi :) Ha ha
Ok, for this Dish Ethan give a score of 7/10 in Foodgelicious meter because it is expensive to make this stupid sushi roll and troublesome, why don't we just go to Sushi King and eat. But sadly said Kota Bharu (my hometown) dun have any nice Sushi shop, this is why we have Ethan's family homemade sushi roll.

4. Road side Cake house a.k.a the Black Shop
***Location: Unknown; Shop name: Unknown; Car plate: Unknown***
Oh yeah, dun be deceive by the look of the peacefully looked cake house. Last few days, my friends that still in secondary school (Form 6) parked their car here. Some of them driving so a total of 5 cars parked outside this shop and walked to school for some activity after yamcha at that shop. From 10 to 4 o clock like that, then afterward they go back wan to drive back home and guess what the shop owner do? He park his freaking car behind their car and told them to pay for the parking fees or else cannot claim their car cause that spot is "Private Property".The boys argue back said they got drink at his shop before go to school somemore. But what the heck, the shop owner dun care what can they do? As you can see this shop definitely does not have a sign or whatever that state out infront their shop that "YOU MUST PAY RM3 FOR AN HOUR PARKING HERE IN MY FREAKING PRIVATE PROPERTY" or a simple "For Customer Only" or "No Parking". Pity those boys, they didn't bring any money to pay the shop owner and one of the boys RAN home to ask money from his mother to pay the shop keeper RM18. Then RM18 x 5 = RM 90. Woot easy earning for the shop owner right? Haha... Not for long cause the boy's mom are going to report them and soon maybe you cannot see this shop anymore :) So that's why I took this picture to remind myself of this kind of stupid shop also exist. BTW the food and drink here SUCKS, this picture is taken around 10 p.m. (Yamcha Time) but as you can see only 1 car there. LOL

0.00002/10 on Foodgelicious Meter and 10/10 on Stupidity Meter :)

Talking about salt and wormy thingy, last few days I saw a worm happly crawling in my toilet's floor. Guess what I did? HOT! hot! hot! Freaking HOT Weather

These few days weather are like SO so so So Freaking Hot man... Haiz..
I dunno about you guys but the weather here at my hometown, Kelantan are so damn hot. I read newspaper yesterday and saw that some area at the west side of Malaysia had been flooded. Oh my GOSH, why West side of Malaysia keep on raining while East side of Malaysia so bloody HOT???? Every time after work at factory, when I walk out of the office, my skin are screaming HOT. When I look up the sky, I can see "SOME" clouds but those clouds didn't manage to be blocking the Sun. The best part is when I enter the car. HOLY SHIT, can't even sit inside for 5 second, after starting up the car, I quickly jump out of the car. "Car = OVEN" If you think you can sit inside for 10 minutes plus close door plus off air con plus the bloody HEAT, I will give you 10 bucks IF you didn't die or melt inside.

Kao Jam (Green Rice)

Happy Halloween guys ^^ as usual halloween not popular here in Kelantan. You can hardly see any sign of Halloween here. But today my aunty cook a popular type of food at Kelantan called "Kao Jam" and I dare to said that it is the tastiest among other type of food at Kelantan. Here is a Picture of Kao Jam. Mmmmm... yummy ain't it?
The rice of "Kao Jam" is very special. The color of the rice is green, yeah GREEN. haha... last time i bring some friends from INTI to my hometown, they didn't even wanted to try this food out cause of the weird color.
So this is basically the dining table of my house. As you can see we all use hand to eat this dish cause this dish is invented by Thai, plus the taste not same when you use spoon. I think is because dun have the taste of your sweaty hand and dirty finger nail, haha just kidding. Anyway we all need to wash hand before eat this, duuhhh.. Grown-up like to eat "Kao Jam" with the Green Chili (inside got fish meat). Oh ya, forgot to mention this "Kao JAm" dish is homemade :)
We basiccally include every thing inside our green rice and mix around to make "Kao Jam", but it is up to yourself either you want what vege or even PETAI (smelly bean, bluekkk). But I prefer my "Kao Jam" with a lot of onion. haha...
Then not to forgot to put in bits and pieces of fish meat in the left corner of the picture. Those are just every day's fried fish but remember to take out bones before tearing them to bits. See the right corner? The weird color soup you say? haha... "Budu" again... haha.. If you wondering what is "Budu", it is juice of fish. Hell yeah... You put fish inside a bottle and let it rot to become this juice. But must make sure no flies lay egg in it. Erm.. Yeah it is eatable.
Last but not least, my homemade Chili. Believe me when I said this Chili padi is FREAKING HOT!!!! Even me myself cannot put more than 2 spoon into my "Kao Jam". Oh yeah... then I need to drink 3 cup of water to cool things down. haha
When you got everything inside your dish. You mix everything around to make sure the taste is good. Say not too spicy on the left side or salty on the right side. And there you have it, "Kao Jam". Bon appétit

Remember to eat with fish crackers and with your hand.
